Desire news of current conditions in Honduras
We are preparing materials for a fund drive to support installation of small, potable water systems this summer (June, 1999).
I would like to include information about the general water situation by someone who has recently been there.
We hear about the money "pouring in" from groups and governments, but I'm wondering if it's getting thru, if it's aimed at restoring the infrastructure, or also aimed at the immediate relief of the people.
I want those who choose to support the water project to understand the impact of their contributions. Can someone who's recently been/is still in Honduras help me find sources of news for this purpose?
