Dear Glenn my name is arthur Im from CANADA I just returned from HONDURAS as valunteer. You are absouletly right people get all kind diaseses from contaminated ater in honduras I spend 2,5 months there working mainly with Honduran RED CROSS teaching how to build " Solar Cookers" and "Passive Batch System" in rural areas as well as in meny Technical Colleges with the solar energy they were able to pastorize and sterilize the water in 30 minutes as well as cook Rice, chicken, vegetables and any food between 2 and 4 hrs I also teached a Passive batch sytem at the German Honduran Technical College that they will start mass produce this system for honduran needs . Most material I braught to honduras with my own resources and paid all my expenses my self the Solar Oven material cost app $2 I had to return because my financial sources was drying out. The people in Honduras didint want me return but it was nececary They make feel so welcome I was realy tauched by their hospitality. I also worked with a medical brigade (from US) in morolica area whole town was destroyed no electricity no water I still remember the happines and excitment of peoples face when they cook the rice from sun .
