I am in the process of helping PS1 Charter school, a school in Denver, Colorado set up a long term "sister school/exchange" relationship with a school in Honduras.
We are planning a trip down with 12 students and are looking for relief work we can help with and places to stay March 26th through April 2, 1999. We will be at a school in La Ceiba the week prior, so somewhere in the North would be preferable, but not to exclude other options. 1. Does anyone have suggestions of school that might be willing to host us near Tela? 2. Does anyone have suggestions of communities that could use our help? I would love to find something related to agriculture if possible. Suggestions of people or organizations to contact would be wonderful.
