If you go to www.holyrosarychurch.org/projecthonduras.htm, you will find several sections which can help you with your research.
I would suggest that you first go to the "Business&AidWatch" section. This section tracks the money that has gone into Honduras over the last few years, but especially over the last few months. You'll be able to see what kind of projects (some agriculture included) are being funded by both private and public funds.
Then go to the "USHondurasLinks" section. Use this section to go to websites for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, Oxfam, etc., as well as Chiquita Brands and Dole Food. Under BusinessInterests, check out "Latin Trade" or "The Journal of Commerce" and plug in "bananas" etc. Go to the GeneralReference area and see what might be agriculture-related, although I'm not sure how timely much of the info in these sites will be.
Lastly, I believe you'll find two or three leads in the "What'sHot!" section regarding the current food situation in Honduras, plus the drop in coffee prices.
Good luck!
