I will be posted to Las Lajas, Comayagua for 1 - 2 months beginning in Janaury for a volunteer project with a major development organization. Can anyone furnish any information on the town -- size, socioeconomic level, weather, services (banks, markets, stores, etc.), communications and transportation, etc.?
Also, does anyone have any information on the status of Las Lajas post-Mitch -- commerce, electricity, phones and other communications services, water, transport to SPS or Tegus and surrounding villages?
